[PREMIER LEAGUE] This weekend games have been postponed.

As everyone may already know Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022, which was yesterday. The Premier League had a meeting this morning and has decided to postpone the football games this weekend including Mondy’s game as well because the Premier League and clubs would like to pay tribute to her majesty’s long and unwavering service to the country. They said, “Further updates regarding Premier League fixtures during the period of mourning will be provided in due course.”

Elizabeth II was Queen of the United Kingdom from 1952. Her 70 years and 214 days are the longest of any British monarch and the longest recorded of any female head of state in history.

Her eldest son will take the sovereign title of King Charles III who is a 73-year-old, the oldest man to become a king in British history.

I was so looking forward to watching a game of Man City against Tottenham this weekend, but I have no choice…

I respectfully express my condolences.
