Chelsea didn’t start well this season so they are rushing in last minute of the transfer market. I feel it was too last minute, but it is still better than nothing. According to Fabrizio Romano anounced, Chelsea also signed Denis Zakaria on a loan deal with Juventus! If you watched the previous games of Chelsea, their midfield without Kante was awful. That’s why they wanted to sign Zakaria.
Who is Zakaria?
Zakaria is a 25-year-old, a Swiss football player who plays a defensive midfielder. He just moved in Juventus on January, 2022 with a four-and-a-half-year contract. Juventus has enough midfielders so Zakaria made only 9 appearances last season. It would be a great chance for him to play more time.
Strengths & Weakness:
He has a great physical so he would be useful in central fight. He is also strong in passing, dribbling, and long distance shoot. He would be also useful in attacking. However, even though he is tall, he is weak in aerial duels. I think he would be a great option while Kante is injured.
