Antony transfer saga is finally over. The news that Man United wanted to sign Antony has been announced for a couple of months ago. Man United has offcially signed Antony from Ajax for $100m on a 5 or 6-year-contract deal.
Man Utd’s new manager, Erik ten Hag was used to play with Antony when he was a manager of Ajax, so ten Hag knows how important Antony is for his football style. That’s why Man Utd really pushed hard to sign him even though Ajax asked too expensive fee.
Antony is 22-year-old, a Brazilian professional football player who plays as a right winger. Antony’s strengths are speed, dribbling, and hard worker so he can pressure hard. His weakness is height and physical. He is 174cm and 63kg. Pretty skinny. He might need to gain weights to survive in the toughest league, EPL.
Antony’s current market price is $38.50m, but Ajax asked $100m which is almost 3 times. His fee is more expensive than Liverpool’s Nunez and Man City’s Haaland…
