According to the world-class football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Napoli (Serie A) is set to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham on a loan. The loan fee would be $1m, $30m buy option, and Napoli will cover the main part of the salary.

Ndombele was the biggest pain in their neck. He signed with Tottenham a 5-year contract with a $10.4m salary. His transfer fee from the former club, Lyon, was $62m and was a club-record deal (The previous deal was Davinson Sanchez). The salary is the same as Harry Kane who is earning the highest salary and higher than Heung-Min Son, LOL. Yeah, Ndombele is literally earning the highest salary in Tottenham (Of course, Kane will get more bonus).

His current transfer market value is $33m which is almost half cut from the fee that Tottenham paid. Harry Kane’s current transfer market value is $99m, but both players are earning the same salary (If Kane transfers to a bigger club, he will earn more). It is 3 times! Who is going to buy Ndombele with that salary unless Ndombele wants to cut down his salary?! Ndombele seems not going to cut down his salary because it is easy money. He seems not to care how long he can play, but the money. That’s why Ndombele was the toughest player to sell from Tottenham, but Napoli angel came to us!

Why does Napoli want to sign Ndombele?
The managing director of football for Tottenham, Fabio Paratici, is very familiar with the director for Napoli, Cristiano Giumtoli. It was easy-going to them haha. Networking is all about!

Another reason is Fabian Ruiz who plays as a central midfielder and pass master in Napoli is about to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Ndombele would cover his role. However, I don’t think Ndombele can cover Fabian’s role in Napoli, Ndombele’s current form is pretty bad because he couldn’t play football regularly. When he was in Lyon as a loan in the last season, he didn’t play well, so Lyon didn’t use him often. It might happen again in Napoli, and he will come back to Tottenham again and be the pain in the neck until 2024 haha. It is on Daniel Levy who is a chairperson of Tottenham.

I wished Conte repaired and reuse Ndombele including Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso as he did on Ben Davies and Matt Doherty, but Ndombele seems to be beyond saving. I really hope he plays well in Napoli and Napoli would buy him…but it will never happen…
What do you think? Would Ndombele play in Serie A, Napoli?
