[RECIPE] Smoked Chicken with Soy Sauce

Hi all,

Today, I wanted to share with a amazing recipe, Smoked Chicken. I enjoy cooking at home, so I like watching cooking Youtube. Here I am to share one of the best recipe that I have seen and tried.

Cooking smoked chicken is usually not easy and fast. You have to prepare wood and grill. The recipe that I am trying to share is super super simple and fast. If you are on diet and getting sick of chicken breats, I would recommend you try it. The recipe will give your plain chicken a something special flavor. I hope you enjoy it:) Let get it!

Materials (For smoking proteins):

  • Non-coated large frying pan (If you use coated pan, then it will be scrapped out.) with lid
  • Steel Colander
  • Paper foil
  • 2 Greentea bags (I tried other tea bags, but greentea worked best.)
  • Protein (You can try any proteins you like such as chicken, pork, beef, fish, even tofu.)

Methods:

1. Cover the pan with paper foil.

2. Tear down the tea bags and add green tea on the pan. Well spread it out.

3. Place the colander on the pan with paper foil.

4. Pat your protien (I used chicken thighs). *Dry proteins will get the best result.

5. Place your protein on the colander and cover with lid.

6. Heat it on medium for 20 minutes. (Please be careful not to catch fire.) Don’t just eat it as is! It is under cooked!

After 20 minutes

7. After 20 minutes, cook your proteins in way whatever you like such as airfrying, grilling, oven baking, or just pan frying.

You could smell smoky flavor from your proteins.

It is all! Super easy, right?

Additionally, I wanted to share a sauce that it a perfect combination with the smoked chicken. It is also super simple, so please try it.

Ingredients:

  • 80ml Cooking Wine
  • 4 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Corn Syrup or Oligo Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic Cloves
  • Sliced Onion (Optional)
  • Sliced Green or Red Pepper (Optional)
  • Sliced Green Onion (Optional)

Methods:

1. Mix all the ingredients except the vegetables in a bowl.

2. Warm vegetable oil on a large frying pan.

3. Add the smoked chicken on the pan. Cook until brown, both sides. Add sliced onions if you like.

4. Add the sauce mixture on the pan. Cook until the sauce is almost absorbed. Cut the chicken in bite size and add green peppers if you like.
